Exploring Ceramics with Shane Lutzk
Saturday, May 4th (12-4pm) and Saturday, June 8th (2-4pm)
9 Muses: 702 Jackson Ave., Charleston, IL
This is a free, two session class for children with autism ages 6 and up. Registration is required. By registering for one, you are agreeing to attend both events. The first being May 4, 12-4 p.m. and the second being June 8, 2-4 p.m. Siblings of a child with autism may attend regardless of ability. Registration is required for each person attending.
"Get social" while exploring the art of ceramic making! Shane Lutzk, Head of Ceramics at Eastern Illinois University will lead this group in the art of ceramic making and TAP professionals will assist with the social skills piece of the event. Come and out and "get social."
Parent Make & Take Sensory

EAISE Boardroom: 5837 Park Drive, Charleston, IL
Please join the Illinois Assistive Technology and TAP staff in learning about and making sensory items. This is a FREE event for parents and caretakers. Registration is required.
Participants will get to make two sensory bottles and a couple of different fidgets.Supplies will be provided and participants get to keep what they make. We will start the class with talking about and demonstrating many different types of sensory devices from the IATP demonstration center. IATP will discuss services and how they can help children with autism and other disabilities.
