What We Do

What is the STARS program?
The Southwest Therapy & Rehabilitation Services (STARS) program provides rehabilitation services to individuals with developmental delays and disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and neuromuscular and orthopedic disorders.

STARS offers physical, occupational, speech and language, and massage therapies; tutoring; educational psychological evaluations; behavior services; and case management. Additionally, STARS is one of the fre in the United States to offer our Summer-Based Therapy Program, that utilizes the cutting-edge TheraSuit® Method, which can be used to treat a vasy array of diagnoses and is extremely effective in addressing both gross and fine motor skills.

At STARS, our therapists excel at motivating clients to maximize their potential for independence.

  • Physical Therapists: apply current research in treating motor delays with infants, toddlers and school-aged children, as well as adults. PTs are trained in the TheraSuit Method®
  • Occupational Therapists: work with infants, toddlers, children and adults to address fine motor, sensory and daily living delays and disorders. OTs are also trained in the TheraSuit Method®
  • Speech and Language Pathologists: specialize in treating delays and disorders of speech and language, inclusing Autism articulation, phonology, apraxia, language delay, receptive and expressive language disorders and sensory feeding issues.
