Creative Crafters is a workshop where individuals with developmental disabilities learn new crafting skills and terminology. Individuals build their knowledge of crafting, follow lesson plans, and help staff identify and purchase crafting materials. While looking for crafting materials individuals visit rummage sales, thrift stores, craft stores, and auctions.

Each individual in the program has the opportunity create, sell and earn income from the work they produce. Their works is shown at the Creative Crafters workshop on the 2nd floor of our 7th Street Day Training location and at a variety of festivals.

The purpose of Creative Crafters is to help each individual practice and display their talents and to provide a structured yet relaxing environment where they can learn and grow.
