BEST BUDDIES
Best Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing them with opportunities for one-to-one friendships with middle school students, high school students, college students, and community members. Best Buddies introduces socialization opportunities and job coaching. CTF is involved with the Best Buddies chapter at Eastern Illinois University.

EIU: EASTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY
EIU is located in Charleston, Illinois and has been a valuable resource for CTF. Both the Therapeutic Recreation and Special Education Departments offer CTF individuals and college students the opportunity to interact regularly while giving the students good hands-on experience. Also, the local Best Buddies program at EIU enables individuals served by CTF to participate in special community outings.

IARF: ILLINOIS ASSOCIATION OF REHABILITATION FACILITIES
IARF is Illinois’ trade association for community-based rehabilitation agencies. ILLINOIS GUARDIANSHIP AND ADVOCACY COMMISSION
The Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission is an executive state agency created to safeguard the rights of persons with disabilities. By providing legal representation, investigating complaints of rights violations, and providing state guardianship for Illinois citizens with disabilities, the Commission has given voice to those who have previously gone unheard.

ILLINOIS VOICES

SPECIAL OLYMPICS, INC.
Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition in numerous sports for athletes who are children or adults with developmental disabilities. Special Olympics programs rely on volunteers and donations to provide these opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
