BEST BUDDIES Best Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing them with opportunities for one-to-one friendships with middle school students, high school students, college students, and community members. Best Buddies introduces socialization opportunities and job coaching. CTF is involved with the Best Buddies chapter at Eastern Illinois University.
CARF: COMMISSION ON ACCREDITATION OF REHABILITATION FACILITIES CARF is an independent, not-for-profit accrediting body. CARF promotes quality, value, and high quality service outcomes through a consultative accreditation process.

CSF: COMMUNITY SERVICES FOUNDATION CSF is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to other non-profit entities that serve children and adults with mental health and developmental disabilities in Illinois communities. CTF is one of the organizations that receives financial assistance from CSF.
DHS: ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES An agency of the Illinois government that oversees state-funded agencies providing services to people who live in Illinois. Their web site contains numerous resources for human service recipients and providers, including information specific to services for individuals with disabilities.
EIU: EASTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY EIU is located in Charleston, Illinois and has been a valuable resource for CTF. Both the Therapeutic Recreation and Special Education Departments offer CTF individuals and college students the opportunity to interact regularly while giving the students good hands-on experience. Also, the local Best Buddies program at EIU enables individuals served by CTF to participate in special community outings.
EQUIP FOR EQUALITY Equip for Equality is a private, nonprofit organization that operates the federally mandated Protection & Advocacy System for Illinois, which safeguards the rights of children and adults with physical and mental disabilities.
GIVELINE.COM Giveline.com is an online store created for the community-minded shopper, offering more than a million bestselling products including books, movies, music, electronics, housewares, gifts and more. Every purchase generates a substantial donation to the buyer's selected charity - an amazing average of 16% of store sales, sometimes as high as 33%.
IARF: ILLINOIS ASSOCIATION OF REHABILITATION FACILITIES IARF is Illinois' trade association for community-based rehabilitation agencies. IARF makes resources available to member agencies and represents rehabilitation human service organizations to the Illinois government and advocates for the needs of these agencies and the rights of people served by the agencies.
ILLINOIS GUARDIANSHIP AND ADVOCACY COMMISSION The Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission is an executive state agency created to safeguard the rights of persons with disabilities. By providing legal representation, investigating complaints of rights violations, and providing state guardianship for Illinois citizens with disabilities, the Commission has given voice to those who have previously gone unheard.
ILLINOIS VOICES Illinois Voices is a state-wide self-advocacy intiative, funded by the Illinois Department of Human Services, designed to empower people with developmental and other disabilities to make their own decisions, stand up for their rights and speak for themselves based on their strengths and desires. CTF is a participating agency in the Illinois Voices program.
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF QMRPs The National Association of QMRPs exists to provide Qualified Mental Retardation Professionals (also known as Case Managers) with a strong resource for research, networking, and addressing issues that concern QMRPs today.
OIG: OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL A department within the Illinois DHS that investigates reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of adults with disabilities.
SPECIAL OLYMPICS, INC. Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition in numerous sports for athletes who are children or adults with developmental disabilities. Special Olympics programs rely on volunteers and donations to provide these opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
THE AUTISM PROGRAM The Autism Program is a network of resources for Autism Spectrum Disorders in the State of Illinois. The Autism Program provides the strategies and framework for Illinois to address the complex issues involved in diagnosis, treatment and research related to autism.
UNITED WAY The United Way is a national organization that consists of independent, separately incorporated United Way chapters throughout the United States. Each chapter supports non-profit, tax-exempt charities in their respective communities. CTF is proud to be supported by The United Way of of Coles County.
