CTF to Open Autism Center in Charleston
January, 2008: CTF has officially been chosen as one of the seven new regional Autism Service Centers for the State of Illinois. The center will be located at 689 Castle Drive in Charleston, Illinois. The doors will officially open on February 1, 2008. Services at the center will include, but are not limited to: diagnostics, resources room, developmental screening, new diagnosis parent orientation programs, professional and educator training programs, consultations, and social skills groups based on model programs developed by The Autism Program. Our regional coverage area will cover East Central Illinois. CTF is very excited to be an integral part of The Autism Program Service Network’s innovative approach to providing services to individuals with autism and their families.
CTF Receives Grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois
December 28, 2007: We are happy to announce that the Community Affairs Advisory Board of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois has awarded CTF a grant of $10,000. This grant will provide much needed funding for dental services for approximately 40 individuals that receive supports and services from CTF.
We thank Blue Cross and Blue Shield for their generous grant and for their support of individuals with developmental disabilities.
CTF Announces Aquisition of Olney Developmental Training Program
November 1, 2007: CTF is pleased to announce the addition of a fifth developmental training (DT) location to its day programs. Located in Olney, Illinois, this newest DT site serves approximately 50 local adults with developmental disabilities. The Olney DT was previously operated by ARC Community Support Systems.
CTF is pleased at this opportunity to meet the needs of more individuals with developmental disabilities.
